ISTANBUL (AA) – Those who spent the Eid al-Adha holiday in Istanbul preferred parks and beaches to enjoy the beautiful weather. On the last day of the week, citizens took advantage of the beautiful weather and flocked to the beach and green areas. Dragos, between Kartal and Maltepe, was among the beaches that attracted great interest from Istanbulites. Those who came to the beach spent time walking and picnicking, enjoying the sea view.
Some citizens had a picnic with the tables and chairs they brought with them, and some laid a blanket on the grass. Children spent time in the playgrounds in the parks and rode bicycles and roller skates. Some citizens fished with their fishing rods on the beach. Kabataş beach and surrounding parks and cafes were also crowded starting from noon. While some citizens were walking along the beach, others were fishing with their fishing rods.

Children had fun riding bicycles and scooters, and played ball on the beach. Some citizens rested by sitting on camp chairs. Istanbulites brought food and drinks from their homes and enjoyed the last day of the holiday with a picnic.
