The SAR 109T model of Sarsılmaz, one of the leading companies of the Turkish defense industry, was included in the duty inventory of the Doral Miami-Dade County Police Department operating in the state of Florida. According to the statement made by Sarsılmaz, with this development, the SAR 109T was recorded as the first Turkish submachine gun model to enter the inventory of a police department serving in the USA. With this step, the company has crossed an important threshold in the USA, which is considered one of the most competitive security and defense markets in the world.
SAR 109T, developed by the company operating with approximately 150 years of production experience, was designed as a compact AR platform in 9 mm caliber. The system was included in the inventory of the police department to be used in operational use, training and evaluation processes. In addition to the SAR 109T, the department has also begun testing the SAR9 SOCOM Compact, SAR9 Full Size and SAR9 Gen 3 Frontline series.
Built on the SAR9 family, the Frontline series was developed according to the needs of law enforcement agencies with features such as tritium night sights, optically compatible slide structure, extended magazine opening and increased magazine capacity. Doral, one of the important centers of South Florida, attracts attention with its proximity to international transportation networks and high security requirements. Due to the structure of the region hosting diplomatic, commercial and high-profile events, the rapid response and operational capacity of security institutions stands out.

SAR 109T, a mission-oriented platform for law enforcement, stands out as a system that offers high modularity despite its compact structure.
Combining AR ergonomics with the controllability of 9 mm ammunition, the platform aims to provide rapid adaptation and mission flexibility, especially in urban operations. The system, which works with a sudden recoil system and has a recoil-optimized buffer structure, can be used with different accessories thanks to its 9.8 inch barrel and four-surface picatinny rail system. Its optically compatible structure also offers the opportunity to integrate into different mission configurations.
With this collaboration, the company aims to improve its relations with law enforcement agencies in the USA and bring its products developed for professional users to a wider range of use in international markets.
