BOLU (AA) – The cat, affected by the smoke in the fire that broke out in a 5-storey apartment building in Bolu, could not be saved despite the long intervention of the fire brigade. A fire broke out in the house of Fahrettin Metyar, who lives on the ground floor of a 5-storey apartment building on Şehitler Street in Kültür Mahallesi, for an unknown reason. Residents of the apartment noticed the smoke rising from Metyar’s apartment, which was learned that he had not been at home for about 3 days, and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Upon notice, fire brigade, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. With the intervention of fire brigades, the fire was taken under control and extinguished in a short time. The cat that was in the house at the time of the fire was affected by the smoke. Fire crews performed heart massage and gave oxygen for a long time to save the cat, but the cat could not be saved.
