SİVAS (AA) – A person who was treated for suspected Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) disease in Sivas died.
Rıza Demir (55), married and father of 4 children, who is engaged in animal husbandry in Adamlı village of Hafik district, was attacked by a tick 6 days ago.
When Demir became ill after a while, he was taken to Hafik State Hospital by his relatives.
Demir, who was then referred to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Health Services Application and Research Hospital and treated in the Anesthesia Intensive Care Service with suspicion of CCHF disease, could not be saved despite the intervention.
It was learned that Demir’s body, which was received by his relatives, will be buried in Adamlı village.
