Acar, who has been working in the field of gynecology and obstetrics for 37 years, has followed up many high-risk pregnancies to date. The babies that Acar gave birth to years ago, who ensured that children were born healthy through interventions in the womb, sometimes became his students and sometimes his colleagues.

Acar works in the same ward with assistant doctors Mehmet Kürşat Erkuş, Rümeysa İnce and nurse Sümeyye Yeşil, whom he took part in during their births. Acar, who continues to follow-up risky pregnancies in the perinatology service of the hospital, continues to share his experiences with his colleagues. – “These friends of ours were also born after a risky pregnancy.” Prof. Dr. Acar told the AA correspondent that he attended thousands of births during his time on duty.

He made a great contribution to my birth and also worked hard for my education. When I graduated from medical school, my score was not enough for obstetrics and gynecology, so I worked for 6 months because our teacher is a well-known, loved and very hardworking teacher. I wanted to work with him and receive training from him. I qualified to enter here. “I wanted to be his assistant and train with him.” – “I was his student, now I became his assistant.” Assistant doctor Rümeysa İnce also stated that it has a special meaning for her that the person who gave birth is her teacher today.

Pointing out that Ali Acar’s sisters also followed the pregnancy process, İnce said, “While my sister was going for the examination, I said to our teacher, ‘I will prescribe medicine, I will come to you.’ It was also my luck to be the teacher’s assistant. He always has our back when something happens to us. I was his student, now I became his assistant. His relationship with all his assistants is like a father and son.” he said.

Perinatology nurse Sümeyye Yeşil said that it was a great pride for her to work in the same service for years with the physician who gave birth. Emphasizing that he was very happy when he received praise from his teacher, Yeşil stated that those who heard that Ali Acar gave birth were very surprised.
