The yacht took on water in Sinop Port and was in danger of sinking.

SİNOP (AA) – A yacht anchored in the port of Sinop was in danger of sinking as a result of taking in water.

The Palau flag yacht, anchored in Sinop Port, started to take on water due to a technical malfunction.

Upon the warning of the yacht captain, who noticed the situation, the crew of 9 people left the yacht and went to the port.

Upon notice, coast guard and marine police teams were dispatched to the scene.

While the teams were examining the yacht, which was in danger of sinking, Sinop Municipality fire brigades carried out water evacuation work.
