KAYSERİ (AA) – In Kayseri, Kırşehir, Yozgat and Nevşehir, emphasis was placed on traffic inspections before Eid al-Adha. Kayseri Provincial Police Department Regional Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate teams took the necessary precautions throughout the city so that citizens can travel safely before and during Eid al-Adha. During the inspections carried out to prevent possible negativities, drivers were warned to be careful and obey the rules.
The teams continue their inspections with drone support. Regional Traffic Inspection Branch Deputy Manager Commissioner Ferhat Sabit Susuz told the AA reporter at the Kayseri-Ankara highway application point that they would be on the field on a 24-hour basis for the peace and security of the citizens. Emphasizing that they have taken the necessary precautions, Susuz said: “We are in the field with radar speed inspections, drone-assisted inspection, bus control and life tunnel activities to prevent and minimize traffic accidents.
Regarding the usage areas of radar speed control and EDS, the ‘Life 112 Emergency’ mobile application has been made available to our citizens. Thanks to this transparent application, drivers can see our checkpoints in advance and reduce their speed to a safe level. Our request from drivers is to obey the speed limits, ensure that everyone in the vehicle uses their seat belts, and take short breaks when they get tired.

We say, ‘Let the end of the road be a holiday, focus on the road, the holiday will not be possible without you.’ – Kırşehir Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek visited the gendarmerie enforcement point at the highway entrances on the Ankara-Niğde Highway Kırşehir connection road and participated in the inspections. Demiryürek also visited the joint application point of the police and gendarmerie near İnanç village and received information about the work from the teams.
Chatting with the drivers at the application points, Demiryürek wished them a “good journey” and asked them to be careful. During the inspections, children traveling were given various gifts and chocolates. Governor Demiryürek was accompanied by Provincial Police Chief Mesut Görücü and Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Ahmet Yıldırım. – Yozgat Yozgat Governor Mehmet Ali Özkan visited the Yozgat-Ankara highway application point and celebrated the holidays of the officials and drivers.
Özkan chatted with the drivers and warned them to obey traffic rules and wear seat belts. During the inspection, children in the vehicles were given various gifts and chocolates. In his statement to the journalists here, Özkan stated that transit passages are intense since Yozgat is adjacent to 8 cities, and that the police, gendarmerie, health, AFAD, fire brigade, municipal police and all relevant institutions continue their duties in the field.
