MECCA (AA) – Turkish pilgrim candidates, who came together in Arafat for the foundation, one of the most important pillars of the pilgrimage, experienced emotional moments after the prayers. Describing their feelings to the AA correspondent, the pilgrim candidates said that being in Arafat gave them an indescribable spiritual peace and that they were happy to realize the dream of the holy land they had been dreaming for years.
Cezayir Fındıkoğlu, one of the pilgrim candidates who accompanied the foundation prayer, stated that he came from Bursa to perform the pilgrimage and said, “We did our pilgrimage, it took 14 years. We have been waiting for 14 years. Five of us came: my son, my wife, me, my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law. Coming with family is something else. We were excited, we didn’t sleep at all when we got here. he said. Stating that she performed the Hajj pilgrimage with her mother and that they were very pleased with the organization, Azime Akarçay said, “It was a very nice organization.” The prayers were so beautiful, we cried and hugged.
Everyone helps each other, we came together for a purpose and said amen to the same prayer. We don’t know their language, but when we prayed, they said amen. I’ve wanted it since I was 15, it was my dream. May God grant it to everyone who wants it. he said. – If I were a bird, I wouldn’t be this happy if I flew. Melek Akan also noted that the pilgrimage was affection, love and dark infatuation for her and said: The pilgrimage has been in my heart since I was 13 years old.

I prayed to God, ‘I am a strange woman, I have no wife, I have no money. ‘Oh God, you gave me this.’ I said. Those who want it should never lose hope. Emine Aslan, one of the pilgrim candidates, explained that they signed up for the pilgrimage draw many years ago and said, “It has been 16 years since I signed up. My son, my daughter-in-law, and my two grandchildren all came together.” I was missing it, God granted it. I am very happy to come with my children and grandchildren. When we signed up for Hajj, one of my grandchildren was 4 and the other was 6 years old. Now one is 20 and the other is 22.

The amount of water in the basin of Karakaya Dam and HEPP, Turkey’s third largest dam and second largest hydroelectric power plant, reached 9.5 billion cubic meters with heavy rainfall.
In the Karakaya Dam and HEPP, which has an installed capacity of 1800 megawatts with a total of 6 units, 2 discharge gates of the dam were opened in the first place on May 11, after 7 years, against the risk of possible floods due to the water level approaching the maximum level. The discharge of pressurized water from the dam set, whose body height is 173 meters, turned into a visual feast. Rainbows occasionally form in the region due to sunlight.
