VAGADUGU (AA) – Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) reached Vagadugu, the capital of Burkina Faso, with a team of 49 people to distribute sacrificed meat, within the scope of the sacrifice slaughtering by proxy organization organized with the theme “Share your sacrifice, get closer to your brother”.
Turkey’s Vagadugu Embassy Religious Services Counselor Dr. Hasan Rami Kara, in his speech at the coordination meeting held in a hotel in the city, said that they will sacrifice animals in different regions of Burkina Faso.
Stating that the number is higher this year compared to last year, Kara stated that the officers will do their duties with the awareness of trust in the region they will go to.
Kara stated that the animals were selected by veterinarians who arrived in the region before the team, and it was determined whether the animals could be sacrificed in religious terms.
The meeting, in which team leader Erdoğan İlkadlı gave information, was completed with a prayer.
