When Eid al-Adha approaches, the villagers ask me, ‘Will the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation come this year too? “Will they sacrifice?” They ask. I thank TDV for these organizations. As villagers, we are very happy that Turks are here this holiday.

Approximately 10 thousand people live in the village. Fatouma Souley, to whom the volunteers gave sacrificed meat, stated that they love Turkey very much and that they are happy with the aid provided, and thanked those who contributed. – “We experienced the joy of Eid together here.” Hacı Mustafa Yalçın, an officer of the TDV Education and Cultural Services Directorate, who was in Niger for the Eid al-Adha organization, stated that he was very happy to take part in this activity.

Emphasizing that TDV reaches thousands of people every year, Yalçın said, “Within the scope of the 2026 sacrifice organization, we sacrificed our animals, which were entrusted to our nation, in Niamey, Niger.
