TANGA (AA) – Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) will deliver 46 thousand 650 shares of sacrificed meat to those in need in Tanzania within the scope of the sacrifice slaughtering by proxy organization.
TDV volunteers who went to Tanzania inspected the areas where the sacrifices would be made throughout the country and completed the purchasing transactions.
Kastamonu Mufti Bekir Derin, who was in Tanzania within the scope of the foundation’s sacrifice organization, said in his statement to the AA correspondent that the checks of the sacrificial animals have been completed by veterinarians and that they will carry out the slaughtering process during the holiday.
Thanking the philanthropists who entrusted their sacrifices to TDV, Derin said, “6 thousand 650 cattle will be slaughtered in Tanzania this year. We will slaughter our animals in 20 regions in Tanzania under the supervision of our religious officials. 46 thousand 650 shares of sacrificed meat will be distributed to those in need by our teams.” he said.
